Big thanks to Chad Fletcher for donating some much needed parts
Last night I went to get my mail and what do I find? A big box full of cool parts!
Chad sent me a type 2 power steering pump with a nice anodized DSE style bracket, a 140 amp alternator(very compact too. Should run the welder with that much power)
A nice ATI super damper that can be modified to run as a external balance type for my 383. And a high torque mini starter.
Chad even covered the shipping!

Thanks Chad! These will be put to good use and really help me with my project.

In other news, the car gets moved into my dads shop at the end of next week. We finally got things organized there and I have the space I need to tear the car apart.
The heads are done now and so is the block. I will be doing a mockup on the motor very soon.
Moving forward, slow but sure!

Thanks guys. I'm seriously chomping at the bit to get this further along. It's almost painful that its been so slow. But slow is better than stopped any day in my book.

Slow but sure, slow but sure. I just made a deal on a great parts car. This covers ALL of my sheet metal/body needs except full rear quarters. Plus it has a much better rear end too. And with the scrap haul at the end it pays back a little bit too. Bonus!

Lol! Thanks bud. I will be doing the camaro shuffle here at the end of the month. Hauling both cars to my dads shop and tearing both down.
I picked up more parts last weekend. Door glass, weather stripping, new gas tank, upper back seat. I have been finding some great local deals. Everything listed above was $100.00.
The tank and weather stripping are brand new. The tank was still in the box.

Sounds like some great deals. I'm looking forward to seeing some progress. You know we all like pictures.
