So, from what I can see, Mark keeps an extra sub frame in the garage just in case?:D
The wiring is fantastic. I wish I could do this type of detail. HEEP |

We are using a Weldon oil pump to run the oil to a cooler and sucking out of the drain and returning into the fill port. Mark |

I've watched your builds since I joined this site. I figured you had something. I've been planning my Chevelle for 20 something years. you can build more cars than 'I can plan. Thanks for giving us these updates. I learn something everytime I see a post.

Mark, do you have any plans for a Nova? I thought I seen something years ago that you owned the 72 Nova that W2W turned into the Super Sleeper.

Oh man, a Stielow Nova would be effin' sweet!!

Mark,
From the pictures, it appears that you are running the stock bellhousing, unless that was just for mockup. Is that correct? At the power levels you are making, do you not think you would want something stronger? Or is your opinion that the stock bellhousing would be sufficient in case of a clutch failure? Also, on your transmission cooler, I don't know what transmission temps are supposed to be, but I think I just read that the Weldon pump is thermostatically controlled. Is that correct, and do you run within that window, or do you control/override it somehow? Finally, what size lines are you running to/from the trans cooler? I would think that a heavy weight oil like that would need larger lines, but I think I read that the pump is set up for -6AN lines? As always, appreciate the education! |
