I have to say -- even WITH Rodger in that pic -- it's way better than that T-Rex version (OMG I HATE THAT PICTURE!!)

Greg the car is just bitchin. Can't wait to see it completed. What I like the best about it is it will be driven. Hell can't wait to see you do a smokey burn out. You get it all right. Congrats.

That's how you set the beads on the tires… and break all the other parts in isn't it?? It's got side windows… so you can see where you're goin'!! |

Somehow -- that old "payback is a bitch" comes to mind. I haven't a clue how that's going to come about -- but it's best to get a guy when his guard is down. :bigun2: :twak: ='s :waveflag: |

You must be talking about my buddy Bob Braga - in the dunce cap?? Thanks buddy! I'm pretty happy with it right now. |
GW - How long is Sid going to have it?

Three weeks…. He got it on Monday --- and one of the guys was laying up board for templates while I was there Tuesday. They had me sit in the car on some foam he had - took some pics and some dimensions - We discussed some "wants" --- such as it must have cup holders… and some pockets on the doors for stuff --- and I want some kind of a door pull "strap" --- they're suicide doors and hard for short people to reach to close. I want a bench seat that has two separate seating areas -- so a "waterfall" piece coming down the back and across the front seat. Just so it's not "Bench seating" -- which is what's in the '32. Other than that -- I left it up to him. |

maybe you should look into one of these so you can reach the door handle to close the door. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41K2S0RRA2L.jpg |

If the car was for me --- I'd be doing an 8 stack all aluminum SBF… (and NOT a Roush that's for sure!)… and it would have a gear rower thingy in the floor…
But I'm TRYING to get my wife to enjoy driving a hot rod. BTW -- if you spend less time cruising the internet and more time turning wrenches (or wielding a plasma cutter… or whatever it takes) -- I might live long enough to see the day when that Ford in a Ford thing fires off and rumbles down the street on it's own (sans trailer). Just sayin' Vince -- Is there some resemblance between that humpback whale --- and a pick up, that I'm missing?? |

It was closing time (7:15 PM) all the babies get tucked away inside when its 49 degrees outside. :knock: Don't worry the cars under are mine and fully insured. Come on that humpback 40 sedan is wailing your name. :hello: |

Okay -- just to remind you what a really good looking car is…

nice, you know a hood would kill the look. Admit it, your redoing your work shed so you can see that profile of your car from every window in your house.
|
The hood and sides aren't on because the grill etc was still at Sherm's… and it needed to go to upholstery. Didn't need a grill to get upholstered! LOL
The way we pinched the nose -- and sectioned the grill (actually cut it in quarters) -- I'm hoping that the taper and slant will continue to carry that stance line and keep that bad boy look I want. IDK if it will work - but that's the thought. Can't have a fugly azz motor like that in a hot rod exposed, and the early horse blanket we tried covering it with burned on the headers… This is the "look" but with chopping and sectioning the grill -- we tried to exaggerate this even more… http://i919.photobucket.com/albums/a...zio/file-8.jpg |
