Looking good Curtis!

By the way -- the Tyler that Basher mentions in his post - is the son of my long time buddy Pierre (AKA "Frenchie - he's Italian but his mother gave him a french name....).

I agree with Basher -- Diny (pronounced DEE NEE) and Tim are 100% first class folks. For those that don't recognize the shop -- they're the folks that built FERRAMBO -- the Red Rambler with the Ferrari engine and running gear... it won a BUNCH of stuff. A Ridler just to name one.... LOL

 I looked over their website and agree they make some very nice stuff. Items I've seen before, but didn't know where they came from. Maybe be placing an order when the time comes.

As far as the trick washers...A quick search shows the options available, maybe not exactly the same but ya'll got options. I grabbed mine from Allstar.

I like those! Add a some black 12pt's and it could look pretty slick. New fad about to hit and you're to blame!

Jim swapped ends of the car to work on for a few. He's added the spoiler and polished the tail end of the car. Good way to keep moving forward and a fresh set of eyes when working on things. The trunk rubber was just installed, and is holding the lid a little high at the moment, but it still looks pretty good to me.

Applying a very thin coat of vaseline to the rubber when new -- allows it to "move" and find it's natural home... and it's easy to clean off -- I'm talking THIN --- you're not greasing up a baby's butt here.

You and Mario can now get together --- you can pack your cars away in cotton balls and look at them in a museum like setting -- because they're too nice to drive.

Not sure what Mario's plan is, but there will have to be some of that clear bra stuff applied to my car. Ugh.....

Jim uses a small cordless drill looking buffer with a small pad on it. The pad is about 3" is diameter. I know he has a few options at his disposal, but that's the only one I've seen. I've been looking at Autogeek and will probably end up with a kit of some sort to keep the car looking decent.

They have a get together once a month and pull cars in to the shop to give demonstrations...they've got some great gadgets, if you're into that kind of thing.

The scheduling gods have smiled upon me and I have a three day weekend. Timing is good, as Jim is just about finished with the final items on his punch list and the car will be ready. So I'll head out Friday morning.

Car appears to be cleaning up nicely and I'm pretty excited to get it home....well over to Jeffs shop so we can start working on it. :D

Not sure what Jim has remaining on his list of things to do, but it's looking fairly complete to me. Looking forward to the road trip out and back to make the swap.

Rear bumper and reverse lights installed out back and the wiper cowl is installed up front.

Door handles and side mirrors are in place...kinda. Looks like the side mirrors are the wrong ones. Shouldn't have the bow tie on them. The passengers side mirror was broken at some point. Came out of a perfect box, wrapped in bubble wrap. I have another set here that will go on the car when I get to Jims.

Not really. As crazy as it may sound, I kind of like view from the road. I've seen so much of the world from the air. Two totally different experiences. I notice something new on every drive out that way. Besides, there are good people a fun car and a cool dog (sam) on the far end and I always enjoy spending time with them.
