I'm running for head presidential groundskeeper so I thought it was imperative that I respond to most of you...

Dear King,

I have followed the build of your royal chariot extensively over the years, as it is similar to my own mode of on-track transportation. After seeing said car in person, I have an inquiry and slight request. Would it be possible to have to have one of your underlings provide me some data on your springs, i.e spring rates, and how high they are set on their respective coil over shocks. A picture would be superb. Try as I might to crank my springs higher, they seem to settle to the stance of the Noble Doctor Renner's low rider.

Sincerely,

Matt

Matt, I run a 550 Hypercoil spring with about and extra 100 lbs on the nose. I had the same problem with 450's. Mine seemed to be coil binding... I don't miss that wrastlin match. I'll get you some photos when I get my lazy ass out to the garage and actually work on my ride.... It could be a while, it's a little toasty around here.....:faint:

My aise is still chapped from that experience.... The first time we met, I could've swore we'd met before?

Congrats Todd, that is really cool. So was there any restriction on the R-compound rubber or treadwear ratings at that event??

Vegas69 07-18-2011 12:01 PM

Yep, Super Chevy events are 100 treadwear.
