I had Syborg insured with them and Sr's 57 is still with them, as well as his 62 and 98 C5 Corvette that only has 399 miles on it.

Funny thing with the vette is they asked how many miles a year do you plan to drive it. He said 1 foot

Opie 11-01-2013 12:40 PM

Some day, I'm going to sneak in and take the Corvette for a cross country drive.

Well Ferris we do live in Chicago where the Movie was filmed. So I think we should pull it off the lift and take it for a spin.

Haha all of them are a guilty pleasure, a little on the cheesy side, but so are all of the movies Schwarzenegger and S******e are in.

Car looks really cool, have fun with it!

LS7 Z/28 11-01-2013 03:45 PM

Apparently you can't say Sylvester's last name on here? Haha, I'm confused...

The voice of experience right there. Glad to see your moral compass is still intact Marty

WSSix 11-02-2013 10:18 AM

Car looks great with the bike rack on there. I think a blow up doll strapped to the bike while autoxing would be fantastic!

MattO 11-02-2013 10:53 AM

But where's he gonna find a blow up doll in Vegas?

Nevermind. That sounded smarter in my head...

glassman 11-02-2013 02:50 PM

^^^^^Chuckled out loud on that one!

Good Morning,

Please look for the "Bolt Together Camaro" completed by Kenny Davis Hot Rods sponsored by DEI.
The car will be outside near the entrance so you don't need a badge to see the car.

Good Afternoon,

Robert McGaffin was kind enough to get me a few pictures of the car before I arrive tomorrow night. As you can tell
from the pictures Kenny's picture taking skills are really really bad.

Well ... built it to drive around like a grandma. You've obviously never driven with slowpoke Marty.

Cheers,

Rick

Just because I don't speed on Public Roads doesn't mean I drive slow. I am trying to teach my daughters to drive safely. Trust me you will see in a few years when your kids realize how you drive.

Opie 11-04-2013 12:38 PM

I know exactly how you drive. It's not just about speed. On the plus side, you'd make a great Limo driver. :)

If you want to prove my wrong, show up at Blackhawk Farms the next time I'm there.

MTMouse 11-04-2013 01:04 PM

Looks great, Marty:thumbsup:

A Couple of us have decided to send Kenny to night School for a class in Photography. Anyone want to pitch in

glassman 11-04-2013 02:34 PM

The stance on the car looks great.

Bring a red handlebar grip with ya to help keep the 6'ers from losing the Darwin awards from the handlebars hahahaha

The security is tight at night right? dont wanna see the bike get "borrowed"...

The plan is to ride it back to the hotel at night

glassman 11-04-2013 02:42 PM

Nice. I was looking into getting one of those tiny foldable bikes for this trip. But i've stayed at the encore the last few times and its only a mile up the road. Plus, Pammy and I are vacationing in Flordia right know celebrating our 25th. Disney World for four days, Miami beach for four days, and SEMA for four days. First time i've ever takin this much time at work, but after 17 years we've got a really dedicated staff.....getting in to vegas tomorrow nite at 7ish

That is going to look funny, you and Kenny, a blow up doll and the bike in the elevator. Good thing we have separate rooms!

The car looks great! Can't wait to see it in person again.

See you tomorrow.

Mike

tones2SS 11-04-2013 04:47 PM

Very clean Marty. Inside and out.
Congrats!

protour73 11-04-2013 05:02 PM

Marty, the whole car looks amazing, especially that interior!!!

But after looking at the all of the red accents in the interior, I noticed the red pinstripe never made it on the exterior?? Phase II?

(I can't wait to see the car in person!!)

Rick D 11-04-2013 08:12 PM

Hey where's all the dirt???:D

Fitz78ta 11-05-2013 06:33 AM

Who said it wasnt??? :secret:

LOL... You dont know how many times I wanted to just pull that thing off and ride it to the hotel. Its a 40 minute walk to the hotel but 1hr plus to wait for the shuttle and ride. After walking all day at the show another 1.5 miles to the hotel is just too much. lol

Car looked great and was a pleasure meeting you.

You should have told me. I would have been more then happy to let you borrow it.

Thanks Wayne. I can't tell you how much fun it was to drive the car for the short distance I did. Maybe once the insurance problem is settled I will enjoy it more.
