Yeah Lenie, those are awesome. Need a quick tutorial. Time lapse obviously but lens and settings would be great to know.

Thanks everybody! Lot of time put in teaching myself, always gotta love the approval! Settings/info/etc....

1) Kerry Park - 5 different pictures layered on top of each other, each f/18 and 30 sec exposure... tossed into PS6 with layer style set to 'Lighten' to show the light trail of the plane.... then an abundance of fiddling to get it to what it is. Taken with the 50mm 1.8 on a Canon 60D

2) Dock in Kirkland - Taken with Canon 60D and 10-22mm lens at 10mm, with 185 sec exposure at f/16. Lens had a stacked CP filter, as well as a 0.9 (ND-8) ND filter, since it was still fairly bright out. Editing in CS6 was a slight manual vignetting, USM, curves/levels, and some vibrance enhancemet.

3) Snoqualmie Falls - Taken with Canon 60D and 10-22 at 10mm, various exposures between 5-45 sec and layered on top of each other and manually masked for manual HDR. Some vignetting, curves/levels, USM, etc

Hope that was enough for an idea, without getting TOOOO into it. Feel free to check out the rest of my pics at: https://www.flickr.com/photos/65655107@N08/

So I have absolutely no excuses with my 7D, 1.4 35mm, and 10-22mm. :D

Great images and editing.

WSSix 06-04-2014 05:57 AM

The shot of Kerry Park with the light trail from the plane was cool! Good job.

Jeff,

Love the nut/washer/bolt shot.... Love all the shots but that one is so "appropriate" for a car forum.

Funny -- We don't have any Cakebread in the cellar... Not sure why, because it's a name I know.

You'll have to come to Sun Valley when I bust open the Balthazar of Quintessa!

Yes I do! What's funny is we were leaving the car show in Junction City and I had put the camera in the back seat, when I pulled up to the stop light next to Guaranty Chevrolet and looked to my right and......WOW! That is a great looking truck! I grabbed the camera powered it up and snapped the shot before the light changed......one of my favorites out of 154 pics of the event. :D

You got it Greg.

Rusty nuts  had to post it

Cakebread is a great one. A must have along with so many others.

Next time you (or any of you guys) are out this way let me know. Happy to recommend some of the great spots. And if you dont have a DD I have a few friend who drive for very reputable car services that are very well connected and can recommend some fantastic not well know places that are quite and private.

A buddy, and occasional visitor to Lat-g and with a 69 Chevelle, is the VP of Ops/Cellar at Mondavi. He has the keys to the magic kingdom. He always seems to show up with little gems like these. Plus he makes his own which in several blind tests has met or exceeded some of the top names out there. www.tortugawines.com
http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps92205a56.jpg

and for any of you hunters out there, another buddy has done extremely well with his brands, Camouflage being one of them. He does custom labeling with big game kills on the back of the bottle. http://www.madorom.com/MadoroM/Custom-Labeling

He also has this running around the west coast circuit with his wine labels on it.

Great pic.

GoPro's still images can be pretty impressive. I wonder how many owners never use that feature? :D

I just set up my Camera on my bike to take still images only every 30 seconds. I will try to post some up next week.

This dealership is in Junction City, OR. There's a University St in Eugene, OR but it stops at 3900's.

Shot USAC sprint cars this weekend. That's John Andretti's son Jarett that's flipping and would eventually walk away.
