How long should I let the paint cure before I start putting the suspension back under it?

Funny you ask. I have no idea. I went to the paint store and told them I needed a PPG brand urethane paint for the undercarriage of my car and that I needed something durable that wouldn't completely break the bank. From there, I trusted their expertise. We'll see how it holds up in the long run.

Primer, paint, hardener, seam sealer, and a plastic car cover for $177.

Yeah. It's sitting under the cover in my new shop. The undercarriage is painted and the car is on the suspension. It's gonna be on hold for a while.

I just closed on my old house last Friday and paid off my land, so I'm officially DEBT FREE!!! We were going to start building a house immediately, but my job is kinda shaky right now, so my wife and I have decided to section off half of my shop and make a 2 bedroom apartment to live in. My goal is to save as much money as possible over the next 3-5 years and hopefully pay cash for our new house. I hate to take on a $150K-$200K mortgage and then lose my job.

If there were more SMART people like you - we wouldn't be in the mess this country is in right now. CASH IS KING -- always was -- always will be.
