It's going along slowly, I've been crazy busy with the day job and kids sports. I'm hoping to have it all epoxied later today!! I still need to order my qtr panel, I just can't bring myself to spend $100 on shipping an AMD when I can get a Goodmark for a few bucks less and no shipping??

Plus you'll get to spend many more hours 'bonding' with the Goodmark quarter panel. :snapout:

Maybe?? I've used lots of Goodmark panels in the past some fit great some fit like sh!t. Soooo we'll see :popcorn2:

If I knew for sure that the AMD fit that much better then I would spend the money, we have a local dealer for for AMD but he charges almost the same price as with shipping, plus he doesn't stock that much AMD metal.

A penny saved is pound foolish in this case.... AMD is the far better product.

If you posses more skill than money go for the cheap stuff.

But nothing eats up more time and moral like an ill fitting part. You may save $150-200 but you'll be doing about 3 hours of extra work. The problem areas are the trunk gap and tail panel transition.

I don't have firsthand experience with either but I've read enough comments here from folks that have worked with both and AMD appears to be the winner hands down.

The Boy's use AMD and that would be enough for me to spend the extra money vs. struggling with inferior product quality.

I fitted AMD quarters to my 70 Camaro, body work guy was very impressed with the fit

I vote buy the crappiest panel you can find. How else are you going to develop those skills and fill your tool box with all the new tools you need to make it work? Just Sayin! :underchair: :underchair: Ask me how I came up with that! :poke:
