When you weld a cage you want good penatration, you know this. When you grind down a weld an observer or tech guy would never know it was there, how thick the weld is or condition of the joint. You know this. That is why im not a fan of it. Plus I like the look of a nice tig bead on CM. I believe if a joint was created, it should be obvious to all. Just saying, not trying to provoke a pissing match or debate. I usually type what I feel and will put it out and not hide it. no hard feelings intended brother. |

Hey Ron, I finally found your build thread! Now I have to go home and read it from a computer that doesn't block content so I can see all the photos. Still looking to get out and see it in person.

Lookin' Good Fellas
|
Ron, with that stance how'd you end up w/that much ground clearance!!! Man that is sweeeeet.
|
Whos floater system are you using?
|
Ron, what are the wheel and tire specs you ended up going with? I don't remember. I got dizzy and...:faint: ... from all the times you changed your mind.
Your car is awesome.  Still gonna be able to make that 30day ETA? |

I am with this guy! Wow!! |
Bad ass:thumbsup:

That's it Ron!! This build has gotten out of hand. The car is too damn nice for you to go out and beat on it. It has become way too beautiful for you to flodge it. So, just pull it out on Saturday's, cruise around So Cal, let everbody drool over it and then put it back up. :drive: :drive:
|
Awesome!
|
WOW Ron you sure keep moving the bar up up up and away
I was just thinking to myself Ron how far from the original plan is it now?? Can't wait to this bad boy some day! Also sent you a pm! |
This turning into a nice build.:captain: :captain:

Looks amazing Ron. The build quality continues to impress. Big props to the various builders who have worked on this ride. Seems like you're getting close now. Can't wait to see and hear it in person.

Hey guys, sorry for the late reply...planes, trains and automobiles for the last 20 hours. Anyway thanks for the props! Car looks like it's sitting right, maybe a tad low. When I return next week I'll get the rear to the PCoater and a few other R&D items and then we move to finish assembly. So no Bryan, that 30 days aint firm... Brett continues to be meticulous (sp?)in his approach and I really appreciate that about him.
Wheels are 19x12/335 and 18x10/285. Let me know if you want BS or aspect ratio. And Marcus, the car will be flogged. I'm not a car show guy...:D |

stance looks insane...

I can't believe he said "Maybe a bit too low". I didn't think that was possible. Dude, it looks awesome--leave it just like it is or lower it more. You are only one inch away from being Dubalicious with those 19's.
If Brett is around this weekend I am hoping to spin by and see the thing first hand. XXX-OOO D |
