I am "patiently" waiting for a pic with the hood on. :whenitsdone:

Jon69RagTop 12-23-2013 04:15 PM

That looks really really nice.

Well done Greg, that car will be timeless. Congratulations.

Thank you! Timeless traditional was the goal. I'm happy that in your eyes I made it! Nothing fancy - no breaking any new ground - just a nice solid hot rod.

I almost, ALMOST, made a similar comment... But one of us knows restraint. Why, I'm not sure... :)

Hope I get to see if before she decides she doesn't want it. :underchair:

She loves Austin -- so maybe I can talk her into a road trip!

tones2SS 12-23-2013 05:09 PM

I love that interior. The color, the seats, the panels.
Very nice.

I just told Sid.... Do what you do best... whatever you think it needs. I think it turned out just right. Nothin' fancy... just nice and comfy looking - and the material HE picked out is just a great match for the look IMHO. My only request was the "kinda bucket seats in a bench" -- "a couple cupholders" -- "pockets on the doors" - and he'd showed me some braided door pulls he'd done for another client... "COPY 'EM"! LOL

'El Sid'... FTW!

redsand 12-23-2013 05:37 PM

Very Nice

As with everyone else....I really like the body color against the interior...It is one of those cars that looks very natural, timeless.....Would of looked great 20 years ago and will look great 20 years from now.

and just think...it is not a 69 camaro...(I am also building a 69 so I have to make fun of myself)

Great build. Have not gone all the way through the thread but do you have any underbody / engine pics?

Hey! I don't know a lot about 'em either!

Thanks --- glad you like it.

dontlifttoshift 12-23-2013 06:41 PM

What did Sid say about the interior panel package that comes from ASC?

That seat?? It's beautiful.

Donny --- I don't know that there was any interior package with my body... I saw them cutting paper and making templates when I was still down there.

Thanks for the kind words. I LOVE the way the seat turned out. My '32 has just a plain bench --- and has ZERO lateral hold - damn near fosse myself out of the thing once at RTTC when I decided I should take a turn or two on the auto X course.... only the stick shift saved me! LOL

Thank you --- and yes there are many pictures in the thread so you'll just have do go back from the first post and work your way forward.

I've had MANY '69 Camaros -- coupes and convertibles... and love them. Always have. But I've been there and done that. They're great - but I'll never give anyone any credit for anything... it's just the way I roll. LOL

Not even Gwen

She has a very nice Hot Rod, with minimal effort :underchair:

Its always interesting to see how the red interior lightens up the blue exterior. In so many pics the car looks black until you got the interior.

What do you need cup holders for, will Gwen let you have a drink in her car?

NO!! But she'll have Stella in the front seat with her!

UGH...

GregWeld 12-24-2013 07:21 AM

For those that don't know Stella.... She's this cute little one year old that Sieg talked Gwen into getting....

Sieg 12-24-2013 07:43 AM

Awesome pic of Stella!

Lab's love people pools but don't look at your pool filter

fleet 12-24-2013 08:24 AM

El Sid > Stella

For now...

Think you have a certain fixation thingy going on here w/the human anatomy, just sayin' :guns::thankyou: Merry Christmas

GregWeld 12-24-2013 10:39 AM

I noticed that too! Maybe Sid was thinking that since it's going to be Gwen's....

Very funny Lenie! Great minds think a like.

I designed and built the one in the Nomad - and Sid did the '33 on his very own no input from me at all.

pokey64 12-24-2013 10:56 AM

Two is a coincidence but 3 shows a clear pattern!

GregWeld 12-24-2013 11:40 AM

Okay - I designed two out of three....

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Sid did good!
I love it when a plan comes together.

waynieZ 12-24-2013 05:06 PM

The interior color looks awesome against the blue. I hope you guys get to do a lot of cruising.

As nice as that interior is Greg may not be allowed to sit in it.

Che70velle 12-25-2013 09:07 AM

Looks great Greg! Really cool ride you've got there. I love the color choices for the interior/exterior. Great combo!

Thanks Scott!!

It's easy to come up with the right combo when you steal them fair and square from someone else's build! HAHAHAHAHAHA

Lenie 12-25-2013 03:58 PM

Greg ya had me rolling! By the way, I know the 32 was a tough build but no matter how you add it up, it's a great looking ride! Can't wait to see the 33.

RECOVERY ROOM 12-25-2013 07:31 PM

I have no comment on this, that wouldn't violate the rules of this site..Lol
