Well, looks like Dave got a bunch of work done this week.

There is a lot more room in the new dash housing then we thought.
I've got a bunch of playing with the dash to get it to look just like I want it but I like this one the most so far.

Side view doesn't look to busy does it.
I can't wait to send the dash to Tom at Hydro Illusions
(( www.hydroillusions.com )) to have him make it look like carbon fiber.
Did you notice the notch in the floor for the exhaust.

Now that we have the steering column back in.
Dave was able to complete the D-Side downpipe.
It has the same feel / flow as the P-Side.

Just a quick shot of the downpipe and Mike Lee's Headers (( www.raceprovenmotors.com ))
Mike does some really nice work if your looking for a really good guy.

It looks like the Master's are far away from the heat but we may make a heat shield just in case.
Did I mention that these are going to be swapped out for Billet one's?

The exhaust is joined again for the last time on both sides.
Dave still has to run the wastegate dumps back into the downpipes.

In order to gain the needed clearance around the intercooler
Dave reworked the lower portion of the core support.

Trying to keep the same theme in the build. We did dual Rails similar to the back half.

Here is my one of my favorite shots. Looking down into the engine bay.
I think it looks so much cleaner then before. We also gained the needed inner fender clearance.

Before picture -- just in case you forgot.

Okay I just thought it was a cool picture.
Cough - Cough MSD & Autometer sure would be nice sponsors on this project.

Just playing around again with camera angle's.

Wait -- Look up you can see the trans pan from Bowler Transmissions (( www.bowlertransmissions.com )).

Wow look at that MSD and Autometer again.......

Looking good! I would take the middle one out and move the fuel and tach closer together. would make it look cleaner. Looking real good!! I'm not a big truck guy, but I think it's gonna be killer!

Thank you. We thought about moving the tach to the center. but all of the other gauages are single sweep and the 4 in 1 has 4 dials. We weren't sure if it would look right with the 4 in 1 off to one side.

Looking good Marty.

Okay did a little more playing yesterday. I decided to recess the qauges a full 2" to get that OE look. I am thinking that the 3 larger quages are will be 1/2" off the panel and the smaller one's will be 1/4" off the panel.

What ya think ??
