Seriously ---- there are things on builds that I just let the builder "do" without my input. We discuss direction and some general ideas.... and if I like what I'm hearing -- I tell 'em to figure it out and run with it. Engine compartment on this build is one of those areas.... I just let 'em choose whatever they think is going to work.

Not really Ken.... 'cause she be all blow'd up and sitting in the paint area being rubbed on with some gritty stuff, and massaged, and just generally getting the once over. LOL

By the way guys ---- if you like what you're seeing -- progress..... quality.... speed of work.... These guys are so good that I've really pretty much just let them have their way with this build. Mike Kaiser (EX Pinkee's.... LOL) calls or emails -- we discuss "X" -- he is given "guidance" -- and then they present and I either nix or roll with it. I don't think I've nixed or had them do a single thing over (design wise).

The color scheme is "them" -- the interior is all in house as is the paint..... and I'm just absolutely LOVING THIS SHOP!

I'm not showing all the stuff we're doing on this little daily driver --- but a pet peeve is the crappy plastic A/C vents.....

Crappy plastic vents No More! Nice.

It really is a "choice" that is either super ordinary -- Like Torq Thrust II's -- or you try to hide them -- or ?? there's nothing wrong with them -- but I wanted something that looked like it belonged and yet was still a bit custom.

This - for me - goes back many years, to my Nomad. I searched forever and finally found NOS A/C vents.... rather than just go the easy route and pop in the usual aftermarket vent.


BTW --- Sometimes I feel like our poor POTUS -- and I say things without a full explanation.....

Photos say 1000 words??? Here's what I'm talking about...... I replaced these wonderful plastic vents with FACTORY vents....
