I was talked in to finding a new doctor in Sun Valley recently. Because he is one of those "concierge" plan doctors..... where you pay them a flat fee for the year. So we set up a meeting to see if we liked each other. Once that was done and we agreed that he'd be my new doc ---- he ordered up all my medical stuff for a complete review.

Then they called and set up a half hour "review".

First thing he says is --- Who told you that you have cancer? Why did they tell you that? And blah blah blah...... WHY WAS HE ASKING THIS?? Because he can't "see" anything in my records to CONFIRM cancer. Okay. Not sure if that's good or bad? But it is what it is.

He wants CONFIRMATION of actual cancer -- or NOT! Says it's hard to treat going forward if we don't really know what we're dealing with...... so off to a Bile Duct Cancer specialist (thankfully Gwen has a friend on the board and gets me in right away) in Seattle at the UW Medical center. So we spent the day doing the MRI thing ---- then the appointment with the big docs after they do a thorough review.

So ----- basically they can't find proof of cancer cells. The tumor on my liver (thought to be a Klatskine tumor) has SHRUNK..... my lymph nodes that were "enlarged and squishy" are back to normal..... and the biggest deal of all is that the bile duct that formerly couldn't even be found..... is working perfectly now (7 months ago the surgeon couldn't even find the opening!!).

Funny thing ------ they (the medicine man) can't figure it out. THANK YOU THC/CBD !! Zero days in waiting for chemo -- zero days of hair falling out -- zero needles and pokes and prods done...... and while I have NOT been declared "cancer free" -- they can't find any either..... GOOD ENOUGH! Merry Christmas!

Funny part is -- it's not really a "miracle" at all..... seems this is a well known cancer cure and all I did was follow the directions.

Crazy -- but western medicine is NOT the answer to all our prayers.

All I can say is I am sharing this thread with everyone and I can't tell you how happy I am that this was the news as I feel like there are other options if my **** comes back as I really have no desire to do chemo again because it sucks.

I have shared this with my RideJanieRide family (charity I work for) and I firmly believe this is the future of cancer treatment.

Since my my daughters read my post I will stick with my FightUgly but just for today I will say F_ckCancer.
