Send that engine to the man and you'll have a chance in hell. :unibrow:

Payback is an amazing car---it did everything well---it's a true performer at every level--and is still a beautiful car while doing it. Even though we weren't in the same run group, I got to see it go through each event. You should hear the comments--most always about the sound of the car---there's nothing like a BBC with a solid in it---congrats on such a great showing--hope we get to see your times put up at some point. I would frame the one pic where you tree'd Mike---that's awesome-

To me it's all about timing...How long and how much do you want to compress and rebound before your in and out of the throttle. Get what I mean? I hope I explain this right but I look at it as the amount of time it takes to compress the shock before it bottoms out and then has no where to go but sideways for the front. Out rear, IMO, it seems your shifting to much weight to the front under hard braking. I was thinking more along the lines of double or triple adjustable shocks out back to minimize and slow that down. Like I always say, I'm no pro at suspensions but thats a peice of my thought process when I'm tuning.

I set the rear shocks up myself with my custom mounting brackets so it's definitely 2.75". You have to remember that we are coming to a complete stop at threshold braking. I do agree with slowing down the weight transfer but when you are braking for 100 feet or more, it's only going to slow the process. I'm going to do exactly what Brian told me to do in my next autocross and if that doesn't do it, it's time for a front spring change and/or rear shocks with compression and rebound adjustments. I've never really felt my car got out of the hole that well but last weekend definitely changed my mind on that whole deal. I still think I can get out of the hole better with better shocks and a taller first gear. Time will tell.

Similar to 2.66 1st and 1.78 2nd? With your motor that "should" be an improvement over the 2.87 / 1.89.

Yep, the TKO has terrible ratio spreads IMO for performance anything.

I knew there wasn't going to be a TKO at that event, both cars are just so strong. I'm just glad someone is keeping the Big Block Camaro heritage competitive, everything can't have an LS engine.(I'm one to talk)
