Cool and respected. If you want it to kill the eng and have a 1 wire Alt. use the proper gauge wire and run it from the alt battery main output directly to the battery positive post, and no where else. That will kill the car instantly when you hit the switch. Or If you see they are checking for it at the track, just unhook the Alt when going through Tech. But you didn't hear that from me

Slept in till 9. Ate breakfast at 11 and headed out to the racetrack. :unibrow: I was greeted with some of the usual faces. The Pozzi's, Mr. Alcala, Hobaugh, and last and certainly least, Cris Gonzalez and his latest creation, blue balz that still hasn't got a nut. In all honesty, I think Brian has bleed that thing dry and them balz ain't blue no mo.

Back to my car. The autocross was a 1st gear good guys type autocross but I had a blast. This was the first outing with the new AFCO rear shocks. I tell you what, the car was good right from the start. Within my first 5-7 runs I clocked a 28.1 which was good for 3rd place for the day. Mary ran a 27.3 and Hobaugh a 27.4. I have alignment changes planned and I may go back to my old front compression setting to get a little more front grip. The loose condition present at El Toro is gone. They had a shoot out between the top 3 non hotchkis sponsored cars and I was the 2nd fastest behing Hobaugh for the day. Your best time of the day was your dial in(28.1) and they added the difference between your dial in and 3 runs to see how consistent you were. I ended up in 3rd place as I was right in the 29-29.3 range. Not my best runs but I was conscience of hitting a cone since that was a 2 second penalty and would've took me out.

Great day and I'd like to thank John Hotchkis for the opportunity to get 12-15 runs in such a short period of time. The Famous Dave's was icing on the cake.

Nice wheel work. Whats up with the passenger? Helmet rules dont apply? Or was that his helmet

That is Brian Hobaugh and helmets weren't required. I just had mine on since my Go Pro was mounted to it. Got the idea from Mr. Martinez.

'bout time you finally took some lessons!

Listen to these guys -- Pozzi - Maier - Hobaugh... and it'll do ya more good than any money you can spend.

I'm only saying this -- not to poke you -- but to commend THEM that they're willing to share their knowledge with "us"! Amazing -- and that's the real spirit!

Having Brian drive my car has been a big help in tuning and allowing him to drive my car showed me a faster way around the track. It was the end of the day so I only made one run after letting him take a few laps. I think with a few more tries I could've improved my best time of the day. Car is getting damn close to it's full potential and I'm creeping up there as well. Brian, Cris, and I talked shop for a few hours last night over some drinks and it's nice to share info as we all learned from the experience. At the end of the day, it's about having a good time.
