I'm not serious today but I'd eventually like to take everything I've learned and build a more race inspired car. One where I could run SCCA road races, The Silver State Classic, run 10's in the .25. Certified cage, lighter, two set of wheels, etc.

So basically what you're telling us is that you want to build a car that is a little bit slower than project Unfair :unibrow:

Hey, it was fun riding around with you. I can see you've definitely picked up a little bit of Mary's driving style, and that's not a bad thing. I think if you stiffened Payback up front and rear you'd get more out of the car. You looked like you had pogo sticks for coil overs in the front. When the nose went down into corners it would bounce up and down at least once. It was the weirdest thing to watch. Anyway, she really surprised me how well she hussled around that parking lot, you know for having a big block, and all (I kid, I kid - the car was flat out fast). Now that you too are renting a hired gun, I'm sure you'll soon have a car that Brian can drive fast too :_paranoid

That would be really enjoyable for someone with your abilities. Imagine how relaxing it would be to work on a car you really don't worry about chipping or scratching. :yes: Money spent purely on functional performance goes farther compared to blending of performance and apperance required in PT.

Having enough space is one of the big challenges. Having a residence with a large enough lot to put up a 40x60ish shop would be very convenient.

Todd- Good to see to you again this weekend.. Hanging out with you & having a few drinks is never a dull moment.. Good to see that you let Brian drive your car again.. The input that he has given us on BB has helped us dial in the car pretty quick.. Take the advise he has given you & do it & you will see improvements ASAP.. If you need any help.. Man I completely agree. Before getting really getting into cars I was building rockcrawlers/off-road rigs. They always we're scratched and dented so I never worried about them. With my current camaro that is nowhere close to paybacks build is to nice to beat the crap out of it without being all paranoid. That's why I picked up that little lightweight cheap foxbody to beat on....lol. I would hate to see you sell Payback as it just does everything so well. But....I understand you thoughts of building a purpose built trackcar.

Why not just build an rcr slc and have a far better platform for all that in the first place? I mean the g-machines being built are awesome but if you want to go really stupid fast everywhere, start with the best platform you can.
