Any particular reason you pointed your exhaust inward like that? Do you think you get much more noise that way vs running it all the way to the back?

Straight down and it resonates off the pavement, can be even more annoying than the way I have it setup. By pointing them at each other and slightly down Im hoping for some slight noise cancelation. No matter how I look at it, it sucks. Also tried to direct the exhaust gas away from the inside of the wheel so I cut the angle accordingly. I would love to have full tails going out the back which would be significantly quieter but there are to many monkey bars back there. I try to do every thing I can myself with car building, exhaust systems have become my nemisis. It didn't seem obnoxiously loud while running in my basement, so it will have to do for now.

Well it finally got out on the driveway, exposed to the sun. First time since it came home from paint, one year later. Ran the engine for a while, Fan turned on at 200, I was happy to see that working properly, off at 190. The second fan never turned on, dont know what the set point is. First check was steering, couldnt move the wheel, and the brake pedal was bouncing all over the place. This is a hydraboost system so we jacked up the front end and turned the wheel a half million times and pumped the brake pedal another half million times. It feels alot better now. The hyd clutch needed 2 turns on the clevis linkage, and hopefully Im not bottoming out the master, pedal is hitting the floor board so I believe it is stopping before it hits the bottom of the master. The clutch feels good, drove up and down the driveway a few times and it seems to work nice, grabs just off the floor. I couldnt take it out for a maiden voyage since the the front fenders are practically sitting on the tires.
I think the Wilwood WS6 calipers were a poor choice on my part there just to big and the .250 spacer to clear them pushed the 10 inch forglines out enough to be to close to the edge. Ive got a little over 2 deg of negitive camber in this thing and cant get it to clear. I hope adjusting the ride height helps. My rims are a 7 inch inner and a 3 inch outer, Im wondering if I went to a 2.5 inch outer hoop making the rim a 9.5" would the 275 tire fit on it and would it be in the front fender a 1/2 deeper. If this makes sense please comment. Heres some pics almost complete outside. Thanks Rich

Wow Rich...major props, she looks great from every angle! FYI, my Forgelines are 6.9" BS so I think you're right on the money. DSE does not use the C6 control arms as the AME sub on my bucket but I believe it's the same geometry and wheel clearance (i.e. 18x10). Front fender width should be very close also, which means time to roll those lips or get a diff front caliper? Keep me posted!

Oh, and that Endura buumper looks right at home...

Thanks guys, its been rewarding, I still have a bunch of sorting out to do. And Ed Hutchings is coming to my house to tune this thing the last week in June so I need to make it road worthy.

Thanks again- Rich
