Hey Greg, Thanks very much for the invite, BUT as it happens I have a new boss starting on Monday of that week, so it's not an ideal time to be taking vacation days...I'm still counting on hitching a ride to Sema with you this year, though!

Best thing you could do is to show him what it's going to be like the rest of the time! You'll take off whenever you please... and you'll be back to work when you get there... in the meantime - if he needs something... send an email or a text!

Greg, believe me, I hope to get to the level of interpersonal understanding with my new boss, that you describe. I had that, with my old boss for many years...About a year ago they gave him the heave-ho. Such is life in the semiconductor industry these days...
