Maybe 2" but we have pretty stiff springs in the car, The car might come down 1" in the rear but I may not have 1 inch to lower the front, without jacking the geometry.

Now that I have the tires and wheels installed I can finalize all the room left from these big tires.

If the nut is all the way down then they should be able to go to a softer spring. The suspension has a specific static shock length in mind. If it's longer than that then a softer spring will allow the car to drop more. The g-Link also has adjustable shock mounts so depending on where they are set now the car may be able to drop lower in the back.

But as Rodger mentioned before, with that much tire you have to be concerning with rubbing at full compression.

You can't forget shock compression either. The lower you go, the less travel you have.

But Carl, I'm also not building a car to ride like a Cadillac. Plus Not all the weight is in the car and Yes the adjustable shock mounts are at the bottom of the adjustment. The other thing is this car it lighter then typical and these springs are just what they recommend for a starting base line spring. Not for the gutted camaro with carbon this and light weight this and blah, blah, blah.

Dear Mister Ape, I didn't know that this car was lightened up from factory. Here I was thinking that all of these modifications were purely to make it look nice and purdy. Thank you, oh grape one, for showing me the light. :hail:

No problem, Team Hollywood driver #2. You missed out on the blood and guts at the Round 2 of the Livermore race..... The Grape ape was handlin foo's, REALLY...The cuts on my hand are just now healing....

As far as the lightening goes you might want to check out the previous 28 pages.

Thanks CARL

Rodger, Rodger, Rodger, the previous 28 pages are the past. I only concern myself with the future. (Besides if you look at post #44 you will find I was already putting in my useless opinion. And I stand by my statement that the rendering looks like Velocity. I also am positive that it won't look at all like it real life so don't take it personal. I am familiar with S4 girl and her car.)

Yes, I missed the last round and I was bummed it had to go down that way. Hopefully I'll be back for the next round, I have some things a-brewin'.

Sorry for the thread-jack.

Hay don't worry Carl, this car building takes a back seat to the indoor go karting clinic that "the dish", Dipstick Jimmey and myself put on. We only lost by 22 seconds after a 10 second pit penalty and running 4 laps under the electronic shut down, and the rigged kart selection. We almost lapped 2nd place by 2 laps last race. So you know they were gunning for us.

I think anybody would get pissed if a huge purple blob passed you as many time as Ty "think with your dipstick, JIMMY" from Air ride, Clint Petree like "the dish" and Warren Wallace, did. I will take a dripping bloody hand anyday to see the look when I grabbed him kart and pulled him back to make the move after they rammed us into the wall. The look on Victor's face was awesome......

I still wanna put Team Silver spoon in the wall.... SUCKA :unibrow: :unibrow: :D

:D

I haven't seen Clint in a while so I haven't heard the stories. Things are starting to calm down up here so we're gonna have to  soon.

It was a full on 3 ring circus driving clinic put on by Team Cencal. You would have been proud...:D
