I didn't get the throttle body flanges so I can't finish it this weekend but here is the liquid side of it.

Triple 5/8 inlet and outlet tubes on the core end tanks drop through internally o-ringed bungs welded to the lower intake plenum. Hoses connect to water manifolds (with stepped internal directors to help promote even flow) terminating to a single 1" inlet and outlet through the rear bulkhead of the intake.

What kind of power will this support? It does look badass!

LOL thanks guys.

As for the intercooler and it's capability, I got the idea from TurboBu's Nova as 417 built a setup for him with a liquid core in a high ram base.

https://lateral-g.net/forums/show...2&postcount=19

I think it's the same core, not sure how his water flow is ran but he said flow was limited and his car still runs mid 8's/1100hp.

In other words it should handle way more power than this car is capable of making.

The original for my street strip car that was custom built to fit under the stock hood on my street strip 62 Chevy II

The production model of which you can buy today. It adds 2.5" to the height of the intake, works with either a Hi-ram or Mid-rise Holley intake (obviously any intake can be made to work with the right fab), is 100% American made, has (4)-12 o-ring fittings, and we are told by the core manufacture that it will have no problem supporting 1500hp. The Mid-Rise with the cooler is about the same overall height as a Hi-Ram w/o the cooler.

Anyone interested in more information can email me at [email protected] I don't make of these and didn't bring up the subject, I was asked for more information so I provided it. Please don't delete this post.

So the one built for your car had 2 inlets and outlets? What size?

(2) -10 inlets (2) -10 outlets but only a single 5/8" heater hose to and from the trunk. All of that is changing to 4 -12 hoses from to rear and a production intercooler on a custom intake to test the i/c.

Damn, I'm surprised you fit -10 through the bottom. (unless you married the core to the intake).

Your planned changes will make a huge difference!

Throttle bodies are on. -3 fitting under the front star nut connects a short line to the top/front of the core end tank. Removing the nut will be the high point air bleed when filling the system.

Since I decided the car will be flex fuel but primarily ran on E85 (and in the tradition of doing everything twice) I ordered a new pump setup from Squash performance. Designed as a return type system, billet top and hanger with dual Walbro E85 pumps.
