Not sure if I can get that blasted or not, sure gonna try that first, we'll see. |
Spent time in
the trunk getting ready for epoxy. I started and figured I'd stay until it was done, and I didn't want to have to keep climbing in and out :unibrow:
Went to the GG car show yesterday and saw some awesome cars and meet some nice folks ... and took a lot of pictures. And then I came home and got to work on mine   Took some pixs of the quarter panel channel with the rust ... I'm gonna try and cut out the rust and break out my shrinker/ stretcher and follow the quarter panel down to the filler panel. Worse case scenario I replace the quarter :willy: http://img542.imageshack.us/img542/9190/120610843.jpg Driver's side rust http://img850.imageshack.us/img850/3739/120610846.jpg Underside http://img189.imageshack.us/img189/6961/120610844.jpg Passenger side rust http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/3757/120610848.jpg I made it out  http://img849.imageshack.us/img849/2550/120610857.jpg POR15 the trunk on the way out! There is always something to do on the car and I find these and get at her with the time I have that day. |
Nice job on a crappy place to work in! You did an awesome job in there. My back is hurting just thinking about being in there.

Update 6/23
I know I have not posted in awhile ... it's field season and as a Fisheries Biologist that means you are in the field.
I have been working on a project that will help biologists determine species composition of their waters ... it's a tethered ROV (remote operated vehicle with video, lights and thrusters) that can be deployed from the boat and in conjunction with the sonar surveys provide live video (FISH PORN) back to the surface. We tested the ROV couple days ago and it works:thumbsup:  ,I made the cage outa 3/16 Al but .... I need to make some larger fins to stabilize the cage but she works and that's kool  Anyway, today was 102 and I spent most of the day getting ready for epoxy primer on the NOS fenders when it cooled off ..... mark time 2045 and tha's cuz I was running outa light. I didn't have enough primer to do the inside but I got the bare steel in primer and that's a good day. http://img843.imageshack.us/img843/9733/120623892.jpg NOS fenders in primer! http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/2299/120623889.jpg Yeah it's dark now! http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/5498/120619875j.jpg It's not the Camaro but I built it for work! http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/4606/120622886.jpg The ROV inside the cage ... "Scooter" I am gonna present my FISH PORN for the first time next week in Utah during a sonar workshop ... should go over well:woot: Thanks for looking .... later. |
Primer looks good,
Liking the GI joe sub!!! looks like fun to play remote control. what kind of fish are you looking at, |

Fish species varies with body of water, we are gonna use the ROV to keep track of KOKanee in our large res that we take spawn. But the ROV can be used for various missions. |
