Finished some rust repair around the back window. I am not at all happy with the blend but for a rattle can it will do for now. I got rid of the powder blue interior and painted it the same 10% gloss 2k paint as the underside. Next the inner fenders and core support will be getting the same paint treatment. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...06f52a03ff.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...77e4f474b3.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...35361ff84c.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...2428c5dab6.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...a1797d62ec.jpg

Man, looks great! I love that you're leaving the patina in tact. I'm always looking for updates on your build so keep them coming. My first car when I was 15 was a 66 Chevy II. My dad and I built it up and it was my daily driver until I was 17 when I traded it and a little cash for the 68 Camaro I have to this day (Project "Cha Ching" on here). Currently, my 12 year old is on the hunt for his 69 Camaro dream car but I'm selfishly steering him towards a 66-67 Nova! :secret: Anyway, great job and keep up the good work!

Thank You Sir, I appreciate your kind words, I'll be posting some update more frequently. There is a big cruise in at the local gm dealer coming up in September and I am forcing myself to have it road worthy. Not sure I'll make it, and it won't be 100% but I am trying like hell!
No matter what car your boy chooses you'll be making memories for lifetime, keep him in the garage and he'll grow to appreciate the time spent with Dad.

As an update to the fuel tank...I ran mine last weekend on a high grip, high g autocross course all the way down to 1/8 of a tank, no issues. Think you'll be happy with it.

Thanks so much, glad you're enjoying the build.

After some sandblasting in 95* heat I laid down some more epoxy and semi gloss single stage. Not much left to paint besides battery mount and core support. I am also planning on spraying some raptor on the under side of the fenders and possibly in the trunk. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...09fdc23399.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...ea6aa7d440.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...88461f93ab.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...59c077cd8e.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...a13e641440.jpg
