Seems like a 700+ crank hp motor.

Some have thought that.. but it really isn't a crazy huge camshaft.. I'm sorta more hoping for 650 and 620tq with a ton of that twist down low and in the the midrange.

700 is a bit much.. I could have gotten then with a more aggressive cam, but I want to keep my street manners.

It will be fun to hear how it transforms the car on the track.

Should be an interesting dyno session. I think most were surprised when you made 499 hp with that little LS for Track Rat.

Yea, me too.. lol

I will be curious when we chassis dyno TR to see if the RW numbers jive with the engine dyno numbers..

Then again.. you almost have to try these days NOT to make 500 HP with an LS engine.

Not doubting the choice in cams, just interested in what info was used to choose those cam specs?

Beautiful motor. I'm gonna guess 672hp and 638 ft#s.

Giddyup.

Talking with the guys over at COMP.. they have some really sharp LS guys. The cam for the 460 I'm building next is just a touch bigger.

I don't know if the ATI balancer is new but make sure the bolts that hold it together don't stick out far enough to throw your crank pulley out of alignment. I had to add one brake caliper shim between the pulley and balancer. Just a friendly heads up. If you can feel them with your finger nail, you better shim it.

LS engines.. at least mine, don't have crank pullys.. the belt rides on the dampner itself.

But yea, with a pulley I can see where that would be a problem.
