Now, Dewitts has developed a new coating called Black Ice and the coating is formulated to give you the black look of original radiator, without the problem of heat transfer with traditional paint. http://www.dewitts.com/products/blackice Jeff |

Thanks for the info on the coating. I would be sure it's coating doesn't have a huge impact on the cooling. Otherwise it stays bare. No way id powdercoat it. That was the core support option only.
Thanks for the compliments on the heads. |

Oh, I paint the core support too. I have tried powder coat in the past on my rear end. The powdercoat base and clear cracked, so we ended up sanding it down and repainting it. I had no problems with the paint on the rear end. Jeff |
Ok excellent advice.
Thanks! William |
Very nice William.
She's coming along man. |
More parts in. Pictures courtesy of DV8motoring.com! Will have some pics on the car tomorrow (maybe without tires). Going to pick them up and test fit them prior to putting tires on them, just to be sure everything looks right.

Congrats Will! Those wheels make me ... :hapdance:

Same as RideTech's yellow GoodGuys camaro. Loved them too much to NOT get them. Got them in just under 4 weeks too!

I couldn't wait to see how these wheels looked on te car so I took the day off and rushed up to DV8motoring.com's headquarters to pick up my new wheels.
I took them to GAP Racing to test fit on the car and be sure everything fit the way it was supposed to. Everything looked perfect! http://i.imgur.com/JGS7M6n.jpg http://i.imgur.com/CGCJjRb.jpg After the test fit was complete, I went back to DV8motoring.com's shop and mounted/balanced the tires! http://i.imgur.com/fE7WPZr.jpg http://i.imgur.com/MDLz9o7.jpg Then it was back to GAP to assemble the rotors (preliminary, need to safety wire still), And put the wheels on to test fit with tires. We've got some work to do to level the car out. This is pretty much the stance I'm wanting for the rear wheel and it looks like it'll work. http://i.imgur.com/DkMxjur.jpg http://i.imgur.com/WWxb5LV.jpg http://i.imgur.com/uyZxIbc.jpg Hard to believe they fit but we got them to work! They'll look a lot wider when the fuel tank goes in next week. http://i.imgur.com/SoEEWlq.jpg http://i.imgur.com/MR8v95D.jpg This is the stance I'll be shooting for on the front. Rear is a little low here. http://i.imgur.com/Xe3jE6L.jpg http://i.imgur.com/U9cpRhg.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Q2hM2Gw.jpg http://i.imgur.com/DZf6Irh.jpg Wheels: Forgeline GA3 18x9.5 and 18x12 w/ Titanium center and brushed lips 275/35/18 Michelin PS2 345/35/18 Mickey Thompson Drag Radial William |
