I started this build 5 + years ago, with the intent on not getting out hand, and well you know the story. I figured no kids , not much responsibility. I need a hobby to keep me out of trouble. Now 2 kids, 5 years later and going on 41 My out out look has most definitely changed but it's to late to quit. My oldest turned four today and he is going to be helping me on final build. So I think it's worked out for the better. The following Pictures of reason why it's takjng for ever ( to many smalls )but I will be happy when it's done and if not no one else to blame but my self.http://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/...ps159bbb24.jpghttp://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/...ps3e869fc0.jpghttp://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/...ps9a16df05.jpg |
Awesome from start to finish. So many cool ideas and new twists on a 69. Love em all.

so my NOT MUCH https://lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=51749 breather is finished and installed.
phase 1 is complete all liquids are in ,wiring , weather stripping etc complete car all done . I wanted to build it completely down to every molding , weather stripping etc to make sure it all fits as it suppose to . so i have a few adjustments on the list already. cranked it up ( let it idle for a while ) a few days ago sounds great ,clutch engagement is dead on , no leaks after heat up cycle . all lights work properly. everything looked good until 2 days later when it would just turn on for a second or so and died . so after getting on the phone with PSI found out its not getting +12v at MAF . fuse that feeds it good so its loosing signal somewhere in between. well figure it out hopefully without major surgery . My plan is to drive it the Long Beach High Performance Swapmeet on 01/31/16 http://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/...psen0uxrxm.jpg don't mind those ugly welds they will get redone[URL=http://s1232.photobucket.com/user/frankv11/media/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_6549_zpsre0qknsg.jpg.html]http://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/...psre0qknsg.jpg[/URLhttp://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/...psn0gjw52i.jpg another CO2 tank sacrificed for overfill tank made this line because a standard fitting would not clear intakehttp://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/...psepewbwsa.jpg safety wired those exhaust grommets to keep them from collapsing while let exhaust expand/ move https://lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=38680http://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/...pshxhgacdw.jpg |

2 kids later and still going at it , had to add space to pull wagon . i went with guard dog everything is hooked up but its isolated( not in service ) ran a regular ignition switch in parallel for start up purposes , just to eliminate any other variables . once I'm happy with how everything is running , ill post up a review on it. http://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/...ps510eefc1.jpg |
Awesome build! Can't wait to see more!

Start up
Thanks guys
See if video post works , thanks to Gary at PSI we figured out the problem and its up and running , runs pretty decent considering it still needs tune . http://youtu.be/V4QZpD95N2w http://youtu.be/qJvOEwokNZ8 http://youtu.be/wgjTejW2waw Still finding things that need some massaging . Like DSE boaster /break pedal returning too slow. lower driver windshield molding fits like poop, weather stripping , amongst other things , so I'm still glad I have taken this route of complete build and drive before final disassembly and paint |
What is your rear end length, And your wheel back spacing in the rear?
