Steeve, i have the last pic you posted of your engine as a my wallpaper...Can't take my eyes off of it! That pic really makes the difference!

Are your valve covers from Nastyperformance? Shure makes it look better!

Lead.

Is there like, a detailed break down list of the things you dit to the engine?
Mods, finishes, brackets, pulleys etc.

Man, that car is off the hook! I really like body-color bays also, but probably won't do it with mine. My only reason is that I drive the pee out of it, regularly spewing fluids all over and I won't feel like going at it with a toothbrush everytime I drive it. Black hides more dirt :_paranoid

If you think "black hides more dirt" then you are in for a surprise.. colors like pewter hides dirt.. This is an OEM color and certainly nothing fancy. If I crinkle a fender it can easily be color matched.

Now for the update,

Figured out the front wheel size. Now we just have to ship the them back to Forgeline so they can "adjust" them. It's 18x9 with a 6.5" backspace.

And here she is as we finished up for the morning... need to lower the back down a bit. Install the grill and voila! it just might be a car.

With the hood on we were able to check out where to mount the aero-catch hood pins. The problem is that the catch (which requires a large hole) would need to mount in the most PITA place in the hood. Installing would require a lot of metal work to make look right from the inside. Since I am quickly running out of $$$ I will revisit this idea someday. We were hoping it would fall in flat place on the hood, but no luck.

I haven't looked under the hood of a 1st gen F-body in a while, but what if you fab some nice core support to fender braces and mount the pins on those? That *should* put the latches out of the way of the stamped bracing around the perimeter of the hood.

hmmm.. I will take a look. The might look funny that far up the hood but it might work. Good idea.

Still the piggy bank is getting low.. gotta stay near budget. Especially with a new "mouth to feed" lol
