We have not tried this specific box for sound but have done this before and if done correctly sounds equally as good as a MDF box and drastically drops the weight. Most importantly it keeps wood out of the car.

Dynamat Extreme and a top layer of 3M thinsulate will take care of that and still be a lot lighter than MDF.

Looking good!!

How do you open the doors from the inside with the latches in the quarter panels?

Are you putting pressure relief vents elsewhere?

Before I saw the logo at the bottom of the photo, I new it was David Dean. Burnt Bridge Images is his photography name. Super guy, comes to a lot of events in the mid-west and takes killer photos of everyone's cars.

Took a ride out to BBT Sunday to drop some $$$ and go over some things on the car. Things have really picked up just about all the major metal work is done! But there is still ALOT of things to do and thats at BBT. My to do list is big to.Troy and I started to do the numbers/days and they don't add up to meet certain events. The nice thing about building this car on my own dime I don't have to worry about having this car done by a certain time . No short cutting for last minute thrashes. I told Troy I can care less I'm not about the shows and the deadlines. Just want to drive the crap out of this thing!!

Man Troy, great great work as usual. I love the lines you guys choose and how tight everything is. some serious man hours.

Looks great.....

214Chevy 04-10-2014 04:43 PM

Okay Mario, as much as I hate to say it because I love the hell out of this build, but I think this is the point where you stop posting pics and it all becomes a secret for the unveiling at a GG's, Detroit Autorama and/or SEMA. Wow is all I can say.:trophy-1302:

Mario that looks awesome! Amazing work Troy,

Jay Hilliard 04-11-2014 05:41 AM

Just awesome Mario. I agree with Marcus. As much as I want to see more, I would stop the pics and debut at Sema and watch everyone's jaw drop :wow: . Troy is doing a fabulous job.

ccracin 04-11-2014 06:13 AM

Mario, we haven't met yet and I'm really starting to dislike you! :warning:

And I agree with Marcus and Jay, LOL. There's something about seeing a car for the first time that is lost when you already know what to expect. Hold off on any more pics. Just make sure to post all of them after the car debuts.

fleet 04-11-2014 07:56 AM

Mario/Troy,

Or, since it's your car, your $$$ ...and your shop Troy, you could continue to post post as many...or as few pictures as ya'll want to.

Love that oval intake

Final interior rendering from Victor Fulton! I'm really happy with it ! Just going to make a couple of minor changes. Let me know what you guys think. Troy just sent me pictures of the gauge cluster bezel that was just completed. Rodgers (IRONWORKS) switches are bad azz and look awesome in the bezel!!

Greg from Aus 06-27-2014 07:02 AM
