Thanks Steve, I am actually going to change the wheels on Fuel and put these tires on the new wheels.
Dont worry ...the wheels will still be black !

I am bringing that Mustang to RTH3, YOU CAN GET VIDEO AND GREAT PICS THERE!
I plan to autocross it and drag race it . It did just run 9.86 last friday night !
Or can I not autocross it since it is a 1990 Model ?

Toyo just released these R888s for sale and the 335s are some of the first out of the factory. They are supposed to be superior to the previous RA1s (what was on Penny) in every way.

One thing I don't get though.. according to the Toyo website the R888s are a hair smaller (11 vs 10.9 and 13.3 vs 13.5") than the RA1s but this stack of tires it three inches taller than my stack of RA1s?????

These tires are also 2 lbs lighter per a tire than the RA1s.. that's a LOT.

After all, you can't dance if you don't have the right shoes.. lol

The tread pattern looks a lot like the High performance Crotch Rocket Tires.

Very Cool.

Steve, will they get much street use? I want to get either NT01 or Toyo RA1 for street performance (braking). Mileage/wear isn't a concern. Thanks.

Yea, these are my street tires. They are 100% DOT certified and street legal. I've heard you can get 12k out of them easily. At least I heard the RA1s wear well, these should be about the same.

The problem with the NT01s is that they don't have enough sizes for me.

Understood. In my case I don't want to change wheels so I'm keeping my V45 16's. I want to improve braking since the other day, when surprised by a radar hit, I locked the fronts briefly :)
