Rybar- This is the closet thing I have to a rear shot of the car right now with the new wheels and tires. It gives you the general idea. You can see the tread width.

what is the actual speed rating on these SR's?

it was a question i had a while back.... never figured it out.

Race- I think they are H rated which is like 130 mph. That rating is for sustained speed of course. For street use they are more then fine. Not made for track use. The guys at M/T told me it costs a ton more to get up to a Z rating in the testing world and they didnt think it would be important on a tire of these sizes. Something like that.

I used to work many years at at tire store, so I can tell you that an "H" rating is up to 130 mph. "V" would be up to 149 and "Z" starts at 150 at just goes up. As twin stated, that is for sustained driving, and really affects the handling of a tire. The rating is the speed at witch the tire starts to change shape (not fall apart). So yes, Plenty good for street use.

Great looking car. Nice wheels and stance.
