Those pictures are great. I bet he has a blast driving it around.

I don't know about the rest of everyone, but I really like looking at these. Lots of exterior creativity.

Thanks for posting.

If you find any more pop them up here.

Thanks again,

Ty

That's flat out, "Bad Ass".

Thanks for the compliment - car is a rocket and handles quite well being light and mid-engine. When I lived in CA I could run through first gear 0 to 60mph in roughly mid 3-second range when I could get it to hook. I just spin the 12" slicks until they really get heat in them. Here in CO now I still spin 'em but second gear to 105mph is a longer pull and I can feel the altitude loss.

I go back and forth about adding numbers. I was thinking about a 3-digit number just to be a bit different than the typical 2, then only 2, then none and so forth.

When I first bought the car as a stock 4-cyl I was pit crewing for a SouthWest Tour team and they had an extra sticker pack, so I stickered the car exactly like a SW-Tour car on the front fenders. Looked kinda cool to me, but a bit too redneck on a German 4-cyl car  Got some interesting looks driving around that way for about a week.

Here's a side pic you asked for. If you have old car mags it was featured in Sept 05 Popular Hot Rodding shot at a NMCA True Street Drag race in Bradenton FL and there was a couple nice pics in Sept 06 HOT ROD in an article about top speed racing at the E.C.T.A. in Maxton NC Different sticker looks in those mags. Land speed racing uses 4 #'s so when I go again I'll have my given # 9354.

The sidepipes are functional but aren't full length headers. I've only seen one set of used full length Pontiac headers to connect to sidepipes for sale in the past 15 years and they were priced out of the range I thought was appropriate for them used and kinda banged up. Hooker made them for Pontiacs at one time and still shows a part # for them but they're never in stock.

Thanks Payton,

It was awesome; I wouldn't change it for anything.
My brother-in-law & my sister has matching rear engine dragsters. My dad is getting old & he wants to hand the little black Opel down to me.

My Uncle & Cousins are also drag racing with us. This is my cousin Ashley, she’s 18 years old & she runs in the mid 7s.

I need to get some decent pictures without the lincoln in it but you get the idea. People flip when you fly past them on the freeway

Rogue - that looks pretty damn cool. Neat car - I like the stock car theme and the all black wheels really work with the subtle color of the car.
