Better instant center points, better roll center, better shock body clearance in the rear. We dont have to lay the shocks so far over they barely work. That is just a few of the rearsons. Oh and we mad them longer then stock to improve the ratio to the bottom. We also improved the ball joint angle in the rear to be able to get the suspension to droop al little farther to get the wheel off. This nova is pretty low and that tire is stuffed in there pretty far. Plus there will be 335/30/18 BFG's in the rear.

Rodger that fan shroud is bad a$$!!! Even better than when you described it. The strut tower brace how is that going to fasten? Will it be permanently welded or removable?

It did turned out nice, the strut brace will bolt in to be able to remove the engine and it will be a machine part that we can also run wires through. Eric Turner (hwynova) and myself have already designed the crossbrace in Solidworks and a bunch of other parts. they will be killer. The rusty one you see now is just sheetemetal we ran through my eckold kraftformer to shink it and get the curve.

If you look below the radiator you can see the brake and power steering cooler duct work taking shape. It is awesome.

thanks for all the comments, It has turned into an amazing work of art, too bad John has lost interest and only talks about mustangs and tennis shoes anymore. This project is like a stepchild, compared to the pony car......haha

Hi John !

Car is looking awesome still. Really looking forward to the solidworks parts install and seeing the sheetmetal finishing up. Ironworks crew certainly doing a great job !

I plan to spend the entire week in Columbus in 08 and catch up with everyone. Doubt the 356G will get there with me - unless something miraculous happens. I haven't spent much time on it at all this summer - although I have worked on it the past 2 weekends starting the frame fab.

You pick a paint color yet ??

Jim
