Absolutely! Got a new digi cam for Xmas, and just waiting for this damn nasty weather to finally clear up. Tahoe are has been getting hammered, and I need nice roads to take my new M3 up there. Looking forward to the drive up there in that car for some canyon carving. :)

wow, not sure how I missed this. The car looks great and I know the motor runs great. Don only lost one belt with that setup as we found an industrial belt that seemed to hold up much better. However, Troys advice and solution is a good one, and I recommend it if you can duplicate it.

Good luck, I'm impressed! :hail:

Hey, thanks Jody. Can't believe it's been over a year now since I picked up that motor at your house. Wow.

So, did you guys include that "industrial" belt with the parts that came with that motor? I am gonna try to have that bracket made. Unless Troy wants to make me one for a fee... :unibrow:

I was going to get ahold of you sooner or later about tuning this thing once it's all ready to fire (for compensation, of course). My guy has a lot less experience than you with these setups, and since you built this motor, you obviously know it. I will send you a PM or email soon to discuss it if you don't mind. I have to drive back to Bay Area from Tahoe anyway so you're not too far out of the way.

cheers,
Dave

pretty sure the belt is in there. The tune in the FAST ran great with that engine in Don's car, so it should fire right up and be happy for you too. Then just do any fine tuning necessary, but probably won't need much. Let me know.

Yeah okay I remember you saying it has a really good base tune and should work pretty good. Could always do a dyno tune later to really maximize.

Would adding the intercooler or larger headers change anything for the tune?

thanks!
