Thats not the Poison Dart I remember. It was red and built on that Tv by Barry White Street rods.... Am I wrong.
This car to me could use paint and wheels, doesn't look like anything special to me anyway. |

As for being "nothing special".. that's up to individual taste, but it's the car is filled with top notch stuff including an IRS rear suspension and fuel injected Hemi. And I'm surprise someone on this site wouldn't like the three-piece Kenesis wheels.. :shurg: |
I agree about the paint. The tribal flames just don't work for me. Who painted the car?

Here's the original feature on the car...
http://www.popularhotrodding.com/fea...art/index.html I like the new interior MUCH better.. and the engine detailing is much improved as well. |
Barry White named his car AFTER the original came out. I think the problem was the lack of publicity due to the length of time it took to get the car sorted out after the debut at Autorama. Otherwise Mr. White might have known the name was already used.

This two part build story aired on V8TV about a year before Barry White's Poison Dart.

Individual taste
I really like Darts. I really hate that paint job. That is only my taste but some may share my opinion. Most people like Cudas and Challengers (so do I) and not as many would like a dart. So put a somewhat polarizing paint scheme with a somewhat polorizing body style and then you have a difficult sale. Looking at that build somebody got a great deal. That is a really sweet car. You just have to find someone who loves Darts, kinda hard, with someone who loves that paint, maybe really hard, to get what the car was really worth.
