bob johnson paid to have the cuda built there is no relation between bob and allan johnson more then 1/2 the mil was labor

If he had that much in it why not a reserve on it.

Barrett-Jackson is all no reserve so he would have had to take it to a different auction. Maybe the dead battery was due to one of those nagging problems that hadn't been sorted out yet. I think the body style and paint scheme are what hurt it the most. Remember the Stroppe Duster ? Killer car that I watched Reggie buy at Barrett-Jackson for about the same price. I love these different body styles but I would never build one and expect to get my money back.

The switch for the ignition was left on while the car was in the parking lot and staging lanes for the week of the show. Thus killing the battery. It would have sold for more if the people could have heard the car.

As for the silver and green Cuda, that thing was on ebay about 10 times, and at a few other auctions. What they want and what they're going to get are two totally different things. I want 10 million for my next car, but it's irrelavent.

what I was saying is that cuda looked killer and had some serious parts on it the car was worth over 150 maybe even more it was part of my point its hard to sell a car for that much when you build it to your own personal way, you dont know what the one person might like, maybe somebody doesnt like green or maybe they dont like the wheels it only takes one thing to make a deal go bad. So bring your car to a reserved auction so when I watch bj next year I wont want to throw up when these nice ass cars sell for dirt, I am trying to build some cool cars and it sickens me when all the hard work and money that goes into these cars doesnt pay off.
