If you need anything polished we have the guy here in town. He makes it all look like chrome! Those pedals would shine so much it would be like having neon under the dash...

Does that mean a certain someone (HWY Nova) is bringing one of his cars to Ironworks. well which one Eric?

I'm gonna change the name of the shop to NOVA-works. We have discussed a convertible.

Really nice work. If I had not had a bad experience with aluminum, I'd never ask or suggest this. I fabbed a new bracket for a harley foot pad on the right side due to different pipe setup. I made the aluminum one 2 times the thickness of the steel one, but when I stress tested it, (stomped the heck out of it) it snapped. good thing it happened in my shop and not on the road!! So you may want to at least see what the pedal does at 200 and 300 lbs at the pad with a rigid mount at the other end. Again BEAUTIFUL work but there is that ever nagging function and safety part of it.

New Shop Name......

I like the new shop name: NOVA-Works....... It has a nice ring to it!

As far as the pedal design vs. safety:
1) the pedals that these are replacing are cast, these are billet,
2) the old pedals are a T-section, these are a modified I-beam section, and
3) I'll double check, but I believe all of the cross sections are as thick, if not slightly thicker, than the cast sections.

Safety is always a concern, and is included in any design that comes out of Ironworks, I mean NOVA-Works!

I would only worry about the brake pedal. the stock clutch pedal in my BMW is plastic, so that means that if BMW thinks plastic will work fine than Aluminum is more than enough.

The most imortant pedal.....

With Rodger, the most important pedal is probably the GAS PEDAL!

The gas pedal does not have to be strong, beacuse it is always shoved against the floor. Now the cable on the other hand is another story.

And.........

Don't forget about the all-important parachute-release-handle!
