A couple of shots of the headers in the sub.

It's increadible to have this kind of steeing box/shaft clearance with this large a tube header.

And on the other side

James,

You suck -- you've proven to me that you can take a bone stock front frame and make it look absolutely incredible.

I can't wait to see this car at Sema.

Awesome stuff! When you get it all wrapped up, I'd love to have a CD of a few pics of the build process to post up on my site with the rendering.

Thanks Marty,

I'm really pleased with the way the the suspension has come out. Thanks to Tyler and the gang you can see that it is possible to modify an original subframe to get something that looks and performs as well as any aftermarket offering out there today.

No promises on Sema at this point but we are cautiously optimistic at this point.

Some BIG BRAKE Porn...

You really don't appreciate how big the AP Racing 6-piston calipers are until you look at them from the front or back. These things are massive!
http://www.onelapcamaro.com/OLC_pics/apr%2025%2011.jpg
The braided brake line will be swapped out after we mock the HRE's up tomorrow and get all of that sorted out. The line that we used above was supplied with the brake kit and probably fits a Z06 perfectly.

Without anything for scale it is hard to appreciate the 14" rotors.
http://www.onelapcamaro.com/OLC_pics/apr%2025%2010.jpg

In order to get the brakes to fit on the ATS spindles with the 1/2 studs the bolt holes had to be ever so slightly enlarged (we used a 17/32" bit) and the backside of the stud holes had to be countersunk to clear the shoulder of the press is studs (we used a 1/2 countersink). None of that is required when using the stock 'vette wheel studs - only if you upgrade to the larger press in racing studs.

The workmanship of the AP rotors and calipers is really impressive. They are really nice pieces; thank for the hookup Tyler!

Well, I'd say he's a great friend first, and a great client second.

I love your car. Want to do naughty things while driving it.

Tyler
