As for the wheels, try the ones you have first. I like 'em. I am apparently one of the few not into the monster wheel thing (up to 18" looks good on the Muscle Cars IMO) and I think those will be a nice "period" touch. I like Forgelines too of course, as long as it is kept at a reasonable 18" maximum IMO.

Originally the period correct wheels was what I was going for, just in larger sizes. But after seeing some of the Forgelines or even the ZE like this below will make the car look better imo. One thing about wheels is it is always easy to upgrade later. Thanks for the feedback guy's.

Great looking project! Love the SS stripes the best....even if they go over the roof! ;)

Yes Carter is great to work with and is willing to try anything you are!!

Keep the wheels and put the money towards gas!

Hi, I was just curious as to what you would have to have for the wheels, that are on the car, when you're ready to dell them, [email protected]

*Not sure what happened to this thread. My last post (last weekend) some how got back dated by a month and on top of the original.

The body has got roughed in and coated with DP90 and then 5 coats of primer. My brother is actually the one doing the work on it as he has spare time. It's a good/news bad/news type of thing meaning the price is right but it just takes longer. When I have time I travel down and help (which means bascially a kick boy). With some material on it we can start blocking the car.

Looks great Tom. Thanks again for the deal on the pan. Did the check make it back to you yet?

Where are you going to mount your coils? behind the heads?

I thought dp90 was black? Nice to see progress on the car. Did you media blast the car? If so, where?

Jim,

Thanks and yes I did get the check and thanks for the additional, I did not expect that so thank you very much. I look forward to seeing some posts on your project.
As for the coils I hope to put them behind the firewall. If it turns into a problem I will look to the back of the heads or some where down on fender wells

I am not sure on the DP90 as when he put it on I was not there. The pictures above is after DP90 and it is UPOL primer.
I had it media blasted at a company called Advanced Finishing Systems in Riverside, California. It was about $500.00.....that was body, doors and trunk. No front sheet metal as it was all trashed. They did it quick, however my spanglish is not very good so if you use them be sure to point things out that you want and don't want done.

Thanks,
