Well one of the advantages of living in Southern California is that many wheel manufacturers are located here. So I went around to Budnik, Boze, Vintage Wheel Works, Intro Wheels and Rushforth and actually looked at each of their wheels in person. What a difference, I found that the mesh style has really grown on me and what I liked on the web was very different in person
Now think I have narrowed it down to: Wheel Vintiques v45s http://www.vintagewheelworks.com/pro...17x11-icon.gif Boze Pro-Tourings http://www.zeforged.com/images/wheel...rotouring1.gif or Intro 311s http://www.idluxurywheels.com/upload...el_311_150.jpg I really liked the mesh style with a brushed and clear coated outer lip with gunmetal centers, that is what really brought that style out for me. The mesh style has more modern look and more represents what I am going to do to the car, but the V45s have that more period look which goes well with the sleeper look I originally envisioned. I do have to say thou that the Rushforth wheels are pretty amazing, just out of my price range based on the widths I need. |
