I will tell you one thing right now - the build quality and engineering of the Alterkation is top notch. It's been a breeze to work with thus far, and Bill Reilly will spend as much time with you as you need - the guy is awesome. I went with 550lb coil overs in the front. That was the stiffest that Bill had, yet I suspect that I will need heavier ones. I'll figure that out after the build is done and I can drive it.

The stock suspension with a 1" sway bar provides about 880lbs of roll resistance. This setup, with 1.25" bar and 550 springs yields about 1300lbs of roll resistance.

The wheel rate should be around 293lbs... top autocrossers run 350.

I'll put a bunch of pictures up later this month. I have the rest of the necessary components to mock up the car at ride height - for final check of clearances/etc. The 14" Wilwoods behind the Forgelines look awesome

Hey, I don't know if you are familliar with the Viper engines- I am. I lost my Viper engine in my SRT-10 Viper Truck. After researching and talking with a well respected Viper Tech, I come to find out that there is this nasty little oil cavitation problem at the #3 Rod Journal on the crankshaft, which will lead to a spun bearing. Another is the junk pistons that are factory stock. You need to replace them as the crowns outer edge of the pistons top likes to crack and fall apart- taking out sections to the first ring land.... I have numerous well detailed pictures of this along with talking to many whom experienced the same devestation my engine went thru.

FYI- I had the #3 rod break, when that broke it took out #4, punched a hole thru the side of the block and wipe out the oil galley tunnel that ride under the cam shaft feeding oil to the engine.....

Guys have been pulling stock engines apart and finding broken pistons.

Just wanted to give you a little heads up and possibly save you from subsequent impending engine doom.

when we (lowdown hotrods) fitted a viper in our cuda with the alterkation front we used 450lb springs and were fine, i know the charger is bigger but i dont think there would be that much extra body weight over the front end, cool project! keep the pics coming.

Kryptonite: Thanks. I went with the 550lbs on the Alterkation and larger sway bar. The v10 fits fine. Had to make custom mounts. The 3-ujoint steering column coupler from flaming river made it a breeze as well.

Haulin_asp - Yes, I am aware of the Gen 3 V10 issues... but this normally aspirated in a significantly lighter vehicle (no squeeze or gas) and I don't plan to rev it, so it should be fine. I have been following your saga on VTCOA...

I started the mock up progress - ran into a number of issues... hence, the reason for mocking up  I'll post questions to those issues elsewhere.

I have found the following issues thus far:
1) Rotors fitting on the axles.
2) Axle/tire too far forward in wheel well
3) Ride height to high

Here are some shots from a couple of days ago. I started with the rear end and these are shots of the rear brake install. Wilwood 14" with integral parking brake (nice setup btw).
