Nice build, this is my favorite body style Chevy truck. Nice X-15 in the background.

Thanks! I agree with the body style. I can't wait to have it all put together so i can just stare at it. Are you a Mastercraft fan? The boat is the reason my truck isn't done. Too much time at the lake!!:D

Looks sick but if I were you I would bring it down another inch they just look so sick on the ground. You only need 1/2 inch to clear everything.

I agree that they look bad a$$ when there on the ground. A 1/2" would have been nice but i was too woried about anything scratching the truck that i went with a modest 1.5" off the ground. Maybe the next truck i will have the balls to 0-1/2" off the ground.

Well i got the driver side header tacked together. The collector is going to go right about where the alignment plate is holding the tubes. That way I have just enough room to make the turn and stay inside my frame for the rest of the exhaust. It was a little hard because i had to clear the steering shaft which is right in the way of most headers.

This was my first header build so please give me your HONEST opinions!! Thanks

I will take some more pics tomorrow. All of my pics i just took were so dark. This was the only one you could see anything.

It looks like a good start. If you wanted to clean them up a little you could go back and change some of the sections where you have multiple parts tacked togther. Get rid of 2 sections with one. When you get experienced you should be able to use a section of the bend with a straight section and have the least amount of weld seems possible.

That SPD tubing work good for tube fit up, huh?

Since i am going to grind down the welds to make them look like they were bent that specific way I think they will be fine. I can definately see the more you do the easier it would be to cut the right cuts and so on.

Yeah that SPD tubing was SWEET!!! They lined up very well and i used a tubing clamp that was tighten so i can barely move it around to keep my cuts square if that makes sence. So everything lined up really nice on the inside and outside. I would definately use there product again!

In regards to being a Mastercraft fan, I would say that I am a wakeboarder and a fan of most towboats. I really liked the X-15 that I have seen at the local dealership and at the boat show. Looks nice and roomy and I hear the wake is nice. I have a VLX, which explains why I don't have a project car at this point. The water is cooling off and I tend to spend the cooler months looking around on the car forums, planning out future projects (one of which will be a C10 at some point).

Nice boat! My buddy has a vlx and the wake is huge and the boat handles like a sports car. I know what you mean by future projects. There is so many bad a$$ cars and trucks on this forum that i want them all:D Good luck with what ever project you get!
