That looks absolutely killer, I love how clean the frame is.
A question, I see you have a ford 8.8 in there, how strong are those puppies? I'm looking for a diff to replace the stock (weak) unit in my vette, if it's as strong or stronger than the c4 dana 44 I may go that route instead Marck |

Who's Wayne?
I need to get hold of a rear end that will live behind a 598, eventually it'll be either turbocharged or blown. I want to keep the rear an IRS as I have spent tons and tons of hours in making my own custom IRS, backhalving the car would be the easy way out, something I won't consider untill I can't find anything that will at least last on the street |
Wow, those are some beautifully bent frame rails. I can't believe how narrow the front rails are. Is there room for the engine/headers?

Nice job
Doug,
Looking fabulous! Morrison does a nice job on those 2x4 rails. Wayne seems to be doing his usual stellar work too. You're in good hands. Congratulations on the progress so far. One caution: the frame rails ahead of the wheels are too long (ask me how I know!), and will need to be trimmed back several inches to allow for things like a radiator and bumper mounts. It's likely the little round tube up front is destined for use as a vise tightener (that's what mine does). It's not a big deal yet, but don't anybody start hanging things off those frame rails up there. Good luck, and keep us posted. jp |
Doug, I got your e-mail, did you get me response?

One more thing ...
Also, be sure you have a viable exhaust tube path. Now's the time to figure that out ... before the floors go back in.
