You mean besides cost, right?

yea for guys like you and me who do the work on our own... but for someone who pays by the hour it should be cheaper or the same as a traditional harness in the end.

Hi guys -

If you compared product cost...ISIS vs. Competition...yes we are more expensive. I think a better way to look at the cost is to compare total system cost:

Cuts total install time in half
User customizable functions
Security
Remote control of electric system
Easy Troubleshooting
Reduce car's weight
Flexibility - Your never at a dead end with ISIS.

Weather your a DIY'er or having someone install your power distribution system for you.

Karl,

Did ISIS buy out I-Squared or did they just go out of business? Their website no longer exists. :_paranoid

So how does one go about programming custom functions. Say I wanted to use input one on page 3 of the INLINK to secure my car. When I say secure I mean role up all the windows lock the doors and enable security in the master cell is this possible with the push of just one button.

I am going to say yes but I'm not a techie. From what i have seen you are not limited this is like having a computer it can multi task(the owner says in the interview you can hook up your laptop to this and program whatever you want into the system I'm sure there are some limitation but what you are asking should be easy for this system). I watched the video by V8TV and to me u can make one button turn on or off what ever you want. But I am NOT A PROFESSIONAL so it's just my .02:thumbsup:

Littelfuse and I-Squared have partnered together to bring ISIS to market. I-Squared brings proven technology for Power distribution (including sofware, hardward and PCB design), flexible development team and system integration expertise to the table. Littelfuse brings Circuit Protection knowledge, Broad testing capabilities to all OEM standards, tooling/manufacturing capabilities and established distribution channels.

It's been a great partnership.

Hi Brian -

98ssnova hit the nail on the head. ISIS does not care about the type of input..switch, keyfob, etc. The relationship between input to output can be as simple as 1 to 1, 1 to many, many to 1. The Security function can apply to any output you would like. For example when the ISIS security is enabled via the inLINK...we lock out the ingintion, starter, and fuel pump at the mastercell. Thus even if you attempted to hot wire the starter...the mastercell has been told that "Starter" input has been secured and will not allow the function. The Security feature could be applied to whatever you dream off.

Regarding custom programming...here are your current options.
1. Let us know what you want at the time of purchase and we will set your system up accordingly.
2. System installed already or in the process of installation...let us know the changes and we will configure and email you the code and a programmer. You then take the code and the programmer and upload.

Coming in 2009, we will have a windows based custom programming feature that will enable the user to make system changes.

Hope this clarifies
