Got the rest of my fuel system today along with a few gauges, carb adapter and B&M mega shifter.

A grands worth of parts sitting on that table. The stuff shouldn't cost that much!!!
O well do the fuel system once and do it right.

It's like Christmas. :D

A little off topic, Shawn, but what camera are you shooting with?

-Freak- 01-21-2009 07:35 PM

Christmas it definitely is!

I'm using a Canon XTI. Just got a new Sigma 10-20mm ultra wide angle lens for it yesterday.

Loving the lens so far, it makes for shooting automotive subject a lot more interesting and fun!

Maybe some day I'll get a chance to shoot your 4 wheeled masterpiece.

Forgot to add that I also picked up a used manual steering sector and column.

The Exhaust piping on the drivers side wouldn't clear the power steering without MAJOR massaging.

I'm also trying to figure out where and how i'm going to mount the ignition in the dash.

That wide angle lens will make you spoiled, and people will give you all sorts of goofy looks while you're taking pictures. They can't understand how you can shoot the whole car from so close....

My neighbor had a Dart when I was growing up, red with big meats (at the time) stuffed under the rear fenders and a 360 that I could hear all the way down the block. Very cool.

Did you say you were going to mini tub the rears?

-Freak- 01-22-2009 08:13 PM

Yes, mini tub is part of the plan. Won't happen until the body work phase though.

I haven't had a chance to get out and work on the car much in the last 3 weeks.

Bought a Holley 4150 4777-4 Carb off of ebay to convert to blow through.
Bought a manual steering column and manual steering sector out of a 69 Dart.

The new cluster panel is coming together, still have a lot to do though.
The design portion takes waaaay longer then doing the actual work so far.

Removed all the plastic trim from the dash and will be making a front panel for the heat controls and figure out a metal panel to cover up the big hole the glove box lock cylinder sits in. Dash should look nice and clean without all that fake wood grain impregnated plastic that was on there.

Does anyone have recommendations on some good reclining seats? Would like to stay under or right around $300 a seat.

I've never had so much fun working on a car.
The options and things I can do are only limited by the amount of cash and Argon in the bottle. :thumb:

How much did it cost you to have those seats covered like you did?
