Have you guys recently recieved ATS spindles? or have you been sitting on them for a while?

last time i talked to the guys at ats they said that they did not have hubs, but they had lots of spindles. and you could buy your own hubs and send them to ats and they would put them together.

Really? hmmm I ordered ATS spindles 2 months ago from SC&C and haven't gotten anything but a bunch of stories...

ATS did have spindles some weeks ago,most of those were shipped to fill older backorders when the decision was made to ship them without hub/bearing packs. I just got off the phone with Tyler. It`s the first we`ve been able to get a hold of him for weeks. They`ve been having a lot of problems but things are (just) starting to come together. Their phone system was screwed up for a couple weeks where they were able to call out but couldn`t recieve incoming. That`s cool now. Tyler is shipping 9 of our backorders right now and will be sending us tracking info,which we`ll forward to our clients. The major backup has been a fried motherboard in the Mazak 7 axis machining center that machines the spindle forgings. Apparently they seldom go bad and they`re having a hard time getting one quickly. Once that`s fixed they should only be about 2 weeks until they can start filling the rest of their backorders. Tyler`s going through a tough transition right now but I think he and ATS will come out of it leaner and meaner. Mark SC&C
