Steve, thanks for putting up those pics. I was going to post an update on the inner fenders, exhaust, and chin spoiler, until I realized our camera got left in Vegas, (don't worry, its getting shipped back). So as you guys can see, Best of Show has been busy making those 255s (and hopefully eventually 275s) turn lock to lock. I think they all agreed that the car HAD to be able to drive just the way it sat when it rolled in.
Customcam, by VC= valve covers, right? If so they're from nastyperformance.com Stay tuned guys, the saga of opening up the quarter gills looks to be happening next. Matt |
Here are a couple more pictures that were taken over the last couple of weeks.
Before the inner fenders were nice and pretty, they looked like this: http://i366.photobucket.com/albums/o...A/DSC_0880.jpg And a couple of shots of the front chin spoiler, just about finished. http://i366.photobucket.com/albums/o...A/DSC_0866.jpg http://i366.photobucket.com/albums/o...A/DSC_0867.jpg Just out of curiosity, what do you guys prefer for the chin spoiler, flat black, or brushed aluminum, with a clear powdercoat? |
brushed aluminum.:unibrow:

Could you please ship me that spoiler, thanks. , no, seriously.
Nice work. |
Nice project man. I really don't think those inner fender mods are going to help get you lock to lock at low ride height though. I always have problems on the lip not the inner fender.

That car looks insanely low. I love it. I can't wait to see more on this car. |

But since the car is together, I'm sure they've figured out if it works or not. :) |
That looks killer Matt. Great build.
Love the chin spoiler. |

|
Looking great!! Love the chin spoiler...I would leave it brushed to go with the wheels.
