OPTIMA® Ultimate Street Car Invitational Announces National Broadcast Partnership with SPEED™

A broadcast feature, produced by BCII, will showcase OPTIMA Batteries post-SEMA Invitational to air January 30 and 31, 2010 on SPEED

October 30, 2009 (MILWAUKEE) – OPTIMA® Batteries, the title sponsor and creator of the OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational, presented by RideTech and K&N Filters, announces an agreement with Brentwood Communications International, Inc. (BCII) and SPEED™ to produce and air an exclusive 30-minute television special about the upcoming racing competition. These broadcast partners will help elevate the awareness and status levels of the Invitational, currently in its second year.

The program, scheduled to air nationally on SPEED in 2010 on January 30 and 31, will cover several of the vehicle builds in the days leading up to the competition. During the week of the event, the program will focus on driver appearances at the SEMA Show and all of the racing excitement throughout the competition.

Speed is going to have the buildup, SEMA AND the actual event all edited into a half hour show? I think it's great that there will be coverage but I hope it's a commercial free 30 minutes.

If the tv ratings are great thats means more poeple next year. Then they will need to go to a 2 day event.First day rounds of run offs then second day finals. That way it is easyier to enjoy it.
