well i have my accessories pretty much lined out. unfortunately with the combo of 1" set back plates and wanting to use the 3 rib section of the crank to run the alternator i had to notch the frame.

here is the drivers side plate i made to hold everything. im only using hand tools, a plasma and a welder so you have to stay open minded. the all thread is only temporary so that i could get the spacing tweaked

I need to put the starter, headers and trans dipstick on and make sure it all fits. Then ill probably install my jessel rockers and I'm going to have to get fancy with my cooling lines in the 4l80e! I have a ton of work left on the car but I'm just doing it one chore at a time. Starting up front and working my way back. I'm doing the car alone so it gets overwhelming if I start thinking about everything that needs to be done! Haha

I really like that you set up your own front drive system. This is something I'll have to fab as well. Thanks for the tutorial...

haha no problem Ron! thanks for the kind words guys. i can get about in depth as you need me to about it. and luckily i have the templates i made for the drivers side bracket.. :unibrow: im concidering maybe cutting out a few extra on my buddies cnc plasma. might let them go for a small donation... i made the intial template out of card board. then i used 3/16 hardboard. i used allthread with jamb nuts on it to space the front plate out to the right distance and then made the spacers. once i was satisified with everything bolted up i got the plasma out and went to town. the main reason i built my own is because im using the truck waterpump and balancer. there just arent too many options out there for them. i mean $12.00 vs $2100.00 is a no brainer for me. the systems that are out there use the water pump bolts which doesnt seem sturdy enough for my taste.:captain:

Hmmm...I'm using the Truck water pump and balancer too. Ok, I'm in!
