It ran on THE Prime Time number on Saturday agas, 6PM Saturday at Vegas, 6PM is good as it gets

II Much ran Friday

Gotta give credit were credit is due, they could have burned a Prime Time number on it for this auction with ease

Dumb question Frank, but weren't there a bunch of other cars that would have been in the same boat as Empty Nest?

How did they handles those - ie: II Much?

It only pertained to cars that were sold to Nevada residents. And as I understand specifcally too that county maybe. Nevada goes all the way back to 1968 for emmision, most states only go to 1975. It failed on the cisual, not the sniffer, they never got that far.

So there were only 2 cars that fell in that catagory oif being old enough, modified enough, and sold to residents in the affected area. Other cars sold to area residents, but were either original or out of affected range.. I have no idea what happened to the other car or what that car even was.

All I know is they offered to either pay me off or I could keep it and get a smoking Saturday number for Scottsdale. There was no option to just keep it, and I was happy with the price anyway. So I said, pay me.

Oh -- Good one Bill!!

Selling cars is like buying or selling stocks -- if you buy a stock - it goes down the next day -- if you buy a car - someone offers you one that's twice as nice for half the price the next day... If you Sell -- the stock goes up the next day -- and if you sell a car - a buddy says "heck - I'd have given you twice that but didn't know you wanted to sell"...

Untrue. It's an urban legend.

No doubt John -- but it's still funny.

What kind of crap are you trying to spread Weld?

GregWeld 01-19-2010 10:18 AM

My daddy always taught me - spread it wide and deep.
