Wow, big difference! was it at all difficult to run the wires under the headers? I'd kind of like to do that.

Also, probably missed it, but did you ever give us driving impressions of your new DSE sub?

Matt

Just look to the right of the spill there is a towel. Scott was probably getting ready to wipe it up, but then thought "hey if I take this picture right now people will think my floor actually gets dirty." Then while he was taking the picture he was twitching, horribly, with the thought of oil sitting on his clean floor.

It is amazing the difference in such a simple change. Great work all around as usual.

Looks great Scott!

Nice! It's amazing how what once was a masterpiece in your mind can be improved so much. My engine swap turned into 40-50 hours of extra work. How do you like the drivability?

Back from vacation, now I can get caught back up. lol

LOL! It's like peeling an onion, once you get one layer peeled you see a better layer beneath it. That's how all of the projects snowball out of control!
I can't count how many of my projects have gone from say, updating the brakes, changing the radiator ( insert whatever part/system) into, " While were at it " and the next thing you know you're doing a frame off/full build LOL! I think it's a sickness we all share.

I have no idea what you're talking about. :D

Thanks Eric. The coils are mounted on the backside of the footwell area of the floors, above the collectors.

Looks amazing Scott. I have a question as well. How do you like having the engine un-painted? It looks great and we have been going back and forth on this issue. Look vs. upkeep etc. I really like the look of yours, is it hard to keep clean? Thanks.

Thanks Chad. I've never cleaned the motor, I don't think it's an issue keeping it clean I guess. Personally, I wouldn't paint it, I like the aluminum.

 Maybe. But that's the beauty of the floor, everything simply wipes off.

That's a huge improvement, nice work!

Ok, I think I'm done now. :willy:

I'll get some better pics tomorrow during the day. I had to use the flash tonight, but that doesn't make for very good pics.
